Happy first Fancy Anniversary to my husband!

Pearls
How precious just a single second is,
More valuable than any shining gem,
When my hand gets to interlock with his -
And to think we've had a whole year of them!
Day in and day out our vows still ring true
Within my mind like a sweet melody,
Eternal words to prove that I love you,
You who accepts the best and worst of me.
Without promise a ring is just a ring;
Without future a day is just a day,
But with you each of those means everything,
So here's to years of breath taken away.
A dress, a tux, two rings on our fingers -
Cherished memory that forever lingers.
